Agilus is recruiting for an Architect in the construction industry in a hybrid work environment in Victoria, British Columbia.
A respected and design-forward architectural studio based in Victoria, BC is seeking a talented and experienced Architect to join its team. This opportunity is ideal for a motivated professional with a passion for design excellence and an interest in future ownership within a collaborative and innovative practice.
A typical day:

  • Lead and manage multiple projects through all phases
  • Develop and review Design Development drawings and specifications
  • Produce Construction Documents and 3D design renderings
  • Perform Contract Administration and prepare tender documents
  • Conduct code and bylaw analysis and quality control reviews
  • Coordinate with consultants and manage project documentation
  • Mentor team members and contribute to a collaborative studio culture
  • Communicate effectively with clients, consultants, and authorities

Successful candidates will have:
  • Master of Architecture (or equivalent experience with a Bachelor of Architecture)
  • Minimum 10 years of Canadian/BC experience, with at least 5 years as a registered Architect
  • Proficient in Revit ACC (BIM) and familiar with BCBC 2024
  • Registered with the AIBC or eligible for registration
  • Strong portfolio showcasing design and technical expertise
  • Proficiency in Lumion, Photoshop, and other rendering tools
  • Knowledge of sustainable design standards (Passive House, Step Code, LEED)
  • Valid BC Driver’s License

Total rewards:
