Virtual Hire Staffing is partnering with a leading architecture and engineering firm to recruit an Architect for its expanding team in Toronto. The successful candidate will play a key role in developing design solutions for impactful projects, working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.

Offering a hybrid work model and a salary range of $80,000 to $115,000, this position provides an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional to contribute to transformative community projects.

Qualifications

• 10+ years' experience within an architectural practice.
• Experience working across all phases of the project lifecycle.
• Experience within education, justice, civic or public sector projects would be advantageous.

This is a unique opportunity to join an employee-owned, multidisciplinary design practice with an outstanding reputation for delivering complex and impactful projects across the education and justice sectors. From innovative learning environments and higher education facilities to courthouses, civic buildings and public infrastructure, you'll contribute to projects that have a lasting influence on communities and the people who use them.

Working alongside architects, engineers and specialist consultants, you'll play a key role in developing design solutions from concept through to completion, helping deliver projects that balance functionality, sustainability and design excellence.

The successful candidate will possess:

• Registration with a relevant professional architectural association
• 10+ years' experience within an architectural practice
• Experience working across all phases of the project lifecycle
• Strong proficiency in Revit and other architectural design software
• Sound knowledge of building systems, construction methodologies and relevant building codes
• Excellent communication and coordination skills
• Experience within education, justice, civic or public sector projects would be advantageous
