City of Williams Lake is hiring an Aquatic Staff II to perform lifeguard and swim instruction duties at our aquatic facilities. The role includes light maintenance, administration, and providing excellent patron service.
The incumbent follows emergency procedures, plans and evaluates lessons, and supports staff during varying shifts including evenings and weekends. The position is based in Williams Lake with a competitive hourly rate.

HOURS OF WORK: 37.5 hours per week, shift work and weekends as required and pursuant to the Collective Agreement

GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES: Performs both lifeguard and swim instruction duties. Performs light maintenance duties, as required.
SUPERVISION: The incumbent is responsible to the Director of Community Services under the direction of the Aquatics Coordinator.
