Job summary

Dilawri Group of Companies is actively seeking an Apprentice Technician to join the team at 401 Dixie Nissan in Mississauga. This entry-level role involves supporting the Automotive Service Technician with general maintenance and repairs in a fast-paced service environment.

You will assist with inspections, road tests, and keeping the Service Department supplied, while building essential automotive skills and knowledge.

Qualifications

• Strong product knowledge.
• Strong aptitude for technical/mechanical repairs.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Technician experience an asset.
• General Service Department experience an asset.
• Valid Ontario Driver's License with 3+ years driving experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform general vehicle maintenance and minor repairs.
• Assist the Automotive Service Technician as necessary.
• Examine the vehicle to determine additional maintenance or safety work required.
• Road test vehicles, as required.
• Restock supplies in the Service Department.
• Tag replaced parts for warranty or customer requests.
• Keep up-to-date on manufacturer technical bulletins.
