Job summary

Dilawri Group of Companies – Oakville Honda in Oakville, Ontario is actively seeking an Apprentice Technician to join the team. This role offers hands-on vehicle maintenance experience and an opportunity to learn from skilled technicians.

Pay rate is $20-$24 per hour. Ideal candidates will have strong mechanical aptitude, sharp attention to detail, and a valid Ontario driver’s license with 3+ years driving experience; automotive service exposure is an asset.

Qualifications

• Strong product knowledge.
• Strong aptitude for technical/mechanical repairs.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Technician experience is an asset.
• General Service Department experience is an asset.
• Valid Ontario Driver's License with 3+ years driving experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform general vehicle maintenance and minor repairs.
• Assist the Automotive Service Technician, as necessary.
• Examine the vehicle assigned to determine if additional maintenance or safety work is required or recommended.
• Road test vehicles, as required.
• Restock the supplies in the Service Department.
• Tag replaced parts for warranty or customer requests.
• Keep up-to-date on manufacturer technical bulletins.
