Acura of Oakville, part of Zanchin Automotive Group, is seeking an Apprentice Technician to maintain and repair vehicles with a focus on learning and developing practical skills. The role offers a pathway within a 50-year family-owned automotive group and includes a competitive hourly rate, benefits, and ongoing training.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years of Lube/Tire Apprentice experience, a post-secondary diploma, and a valid driver’s license.

Formación

• 1 to 3 years proven experience as a Lube/Tire Apprentice Technician.
• Post Secondary School diploma, or equivalent experience.
• Ability to operate manual and automatic transmission vehicles.
• Driver's License and clean Drivers Abstract.
• Ability to adapt to a changing environment and meet deadlines.
• Ability to communicate professionally (verbally and written).
• Strong attention to detail, organized and strategic.
• Ability to maintain professionalism.
• Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.
• Self-motivated and driven with a passion for excellence in execution.
• A desire to work in a high energy, fast-paced environment.
• A proven commitment to quality of work.

Responsabilidades

• Perform basic vehicular maintenance and repair on customer and dealership vehicles.
• Perform basic vehicle care and maintenance, including oil changes, lubrication, filter replacement, and tire rotation/replacement.
• Communicate with the Service Advisor and Shop Foreman to provide updates regarding the vehicle.
• Document all vehicle repair and maintenance performed on the repair order.
• Road test vehicles, as required.

The expectedsalary or pay rate for this role isfrom $19.00 to $21.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.

About the opportunity…

As an integral part of the “we can do that” operation, this position is responsible for performing vehicle maintenance and repair on customer and dealership vehicles, while developing practical skills. Specifically:

• perform basic vehicale care and maintenance, including oil change, lubrication work, filter replacement, and tire rotation/replacement
• communicate with the Service Advisor and Shop Foreman to provide updates regarding the vehicle
• document all vehicle repair and maintenance performed, on the repair order
• road tests vehicles, as required
