Job summary

The New Age Group is seeking an Apprentice Security Systems Technician in Canada to start a long-term career in security, technology, and low-voltage work. You will learn structured cabling, surveillance, intrusion alarms, and access control while working under experienced technicians.

This role offers a clearly defined training path from Labourer to Lead Technician, with 100% direct supervision and comprehensive safety training, tools, and ongoing development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must possess or be willing to obtain Working at Heights certification.
• WHMIS training is preferred or required as applicable.
• Aerial Lift Certification is desirable where relevant.
• Valid Ontario Driver's License is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow all company safety policies and wear PPE at all times.
• Participate in daily safety meetings and complete Job Hazard Assessments.
• Maintain a clean, organized worksite and professional appearance.
• Assist with structured cabling, surveillance systems, and access control tasks.
• Support warehouse, material staging and vehicle-related duties as needed.
