Job summary

FLINT in Canada is seeking a Senior / Lead HVAC Installer (Gas B) to lead professional installations, mentor teammates, and uphold safety and quality standards.

You will install HVAC systems, instruct customers, and identify energy-efficient upgrade opportunities while maintaining strong customer relationships and adhering to codes. Schedule includes 7:30am–4:30pm with peak-season evenings/weekends; base wage $49–$55/hr, signing bonus, RRSP matching, paid vacation, and benefits.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in HVAC installation.
  • Strong technical expertise with exceptional customer service.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Growth mindset and results-driven approach.
  • Ability to work in varied environments.

Responsibilities

  • Install HVAC systems and accessory components in accordance with manufacturer specifications and local codes.
  • Ensure all installations operate safely while instructing customers on proper use and maintenance.

  • Educate customers on the benefits of modern, energy-efficient equipment.

About the Role

In this position, you will lead the professional installation of HVAC systems and related equipment, ensuring each project is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. You will also act as a trusted advisor to customers by providing clear guidance on system operation, maintenance, and energy-efficient upgrades.


Schedule:

Monday to Friday, 7:30am – 4:30pm. During peak season (May to August) installers must be available for evening and weekend installs as needed, outside of peak season weekend work is on rotation.
