Job Description:

Apprentice Millwright/Mechanic at Lifting Equipment Ltd. in Calgary, AB, Canada. This entry-level position is open to candidates with a Bachelor Degree. The vacancy is currently available and will remain open until June 8, 2025.

Job Responsibilities:

Lifting Equipment Ltd., with 35 years in the oil and gas industry, offers a full-time position involving inspection and repair of hoists, pullers, crane systems, and other lifting devices. You will work in a two-person crew alongside a qualified journeyman, receive in-house training, and travel within Alberta, BC, and Saskatchewan using a company vehicle. Accommodation and meal allowances are provided, along with safety gear and tools, except steel-toed boots which you must supply. The work involves out-of-town assignments lasting one to two weeks, followed by returns to Calgary.
