As a Journeyman Maintenance Mechanic, you will report to the Maintenance Supervisor and be an integral part of our team. Your responsibilities include supporting the maintenance, service, and repair of machines, buildings, and other equipment.

• Pay: $36/hr
• Schedule:
  • Training: 1st shift (6:30am – 3:00pm) for up to 6 months
  • Regular: 1st shift or 12-hour rotating shifts (6:30am - 6:30pm), based on seniority. Availability for on-call shifts may be required.

Develop your talents by applying your expertise at our Eau Claire facility. As a Journeyman Maintenance Mechanic, your duties will include:

• Safely troubleshooting, repairing, and installing equipment, including motors, conveyors, pneumatic and hydraulic components, in compliance with all plant policies and procedures
• Conducting preventive maintenance and repairs based on diagrams, manuals, and specifications
• Developing procedures to enhance machine operation, changeover, and troubleshooting knowledge
• Following Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and other safety protocols
• Operating machinery and equipment such as forklifts, hand tools, and conveyors
• Adhering to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
• Using maintenance software (CMMS) for work orders, reporting hours and issues

• Ability to work at heights and with powered equipment
• High school diploma or GED
