Job summary

Element Technical Services Inc. in Calgary is seeking an Apprentice Mechanic to learn on the job while supporting preventative maintenance on frac and coiled tubing equipment. You will work under experienced mechanics, completing paperwork, and helping diagnose and repair issues.

The role emphasizes safety, orderly workspaces, and growth within the company. On-the-job training and advancement opportunities are available as you progress toward Heavy Duty or Truck and Trailer Mechanic

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Coiled Tubing, Fracturing, and truck/trailer equipment is an asset.
• Strong computer and communications skills are an asset.
• On-the-job training provided by experienced mechanics.
• Assistance with completion of apprenticeship program for Heavy Duty Mechanic or Truck and Trailer Mechanic.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on Frac and Coiled Tubing equipment.
• Assist in ensuring maintenance inspections are completed within designated timelines and documented as per industry standard.
• Learn to diagnose and repair mechanical issues under the guidance of senior mechanics.
• Complete paperwork efficiently and in a timely manner.
• Record and track equipment deficiencies.
• Participate in safety meetings and provide feedback on equipment modifications and specifications.
• Assist experienced mechanics with field repairs as required.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Follow all safety protocols and guidelines.

APPRENTICE MECHANIC

• Perform preventative
