Ledcor Pipeline is seeking skilled Pipefitters for ongoing maintenance work at Fort Hills, AB. The role focuses on inspecting, repairing, and installing piping systems in a safety-first environment on a major industrial project.

Applicants should hold a Journeyperson or Apprenticeship certification with industrial experience and must pass pre-access drug and alcohol testing. Camp accommodations and flights are provided, with a strong commitment to safety and long-term opportunities.

Qualifications

• Registered Apprentice or Journeyperson Pipefitter certification.
• Experience on industrial construction or pipeline projects.
• Must pass pre-access drug and alcohol testing.
• Must have a valid Class 5 driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain, and repair tailings pipelines, valves and infrastructure.
• Perform bolt-up, rigging, and hydro testing.
• Execute rigging operations including lifting, hoisting, and positioning pipe sections.
• Assemble and install piping sections according to blueprints and job specifications.
• Work with pipefitters and welders in a safety-first environment.
• Perform physically demanding tasks.
• Use testing equipment to check for leaks and troubleshoot fittings.
• Work outdoors around heavy equipment on site.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Inspect, maintain, and repair tailings pipelines, valves, and associated infrastructure
• Perform bolt up, rigging, and hydro testing
• Execute rigging operations including lifting, hoisting, and positioning pipe sections
• Assemble and install piping sections according to blueprints and job specifications
• Work closely with a skilled team of pipefitters and welders in a safety-first environment
• Perform physically demanding tasks
• Use testing equipment to check for system leaks and troubleshoot fitting errors
• Work safely around heavy equipment in an active mine

Requirements:

• Registered Apprentice or Journeyperson Pipefitter certification
• Experience on industrial construction or pipeline projects
• Must successfully complete pre-access drug and alcohol testing
• Good attention to detail with the ability to problem solve
• Must be able to meet all safety requirements and applicable safety policies
• Valid class 5 driver's license

Work Conditions:

• 14 days on, 14 days off, working 12 hours per day
• Camp accommodations provided
• Charter flights provided from Edmonton and Calgary

• Work will be outdoors in various weather conditions
