Job summary

ARJAE Design Solutions Ltd. in Alberta is seeking Apprentice Insulators 1st, 2nd and 3rd year to join our shop team. You will insulate piping, vessels, heaters and process equipment at our Nisku fabrication facility, under supervision of journeymen.

We value safety, teamwork and reliability; you will read drawings, cut and install insulation, and help prepare jackets and finishing materials. Overtime and varying hours may apply.

Qualifications

• Registered Apprentice Insulator (1st, 2nd or 3rd year) in Alberta.
• Experience in an industrial or fabrication shop environment preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Willingness to work overtime and be a team player.

Responsibilities

• Measure, cut, and install insulation materials on piping, vessels, and equipment.
• Assist in preparing and fabricating insulation jackets, cladding, and finishing materials.
• Read and interpret drawings, shop instructions, and specifications.
• Ensure insulation work meets quality and safety standards.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean, organized work area.
• Work collaboratively with journeymen, welders, pipefitters, and other trades.
• Follow company safety policies and participate in safe work practices.
• Perform other duties as required.
