Onni Group in Vancouver is seeking a hardworking Apprentice Electrician to join our crew. Learn hands-on in commercial electrical work while building the skills for a long-term career in the trade.

You will learn from the Foreman, interpret blueprints, assist with repairs, install electrical systems, and collaborate with other trades. A strong work ethic and reliable transportation help you succeed.

Qualifications

• Experience on commercial electrical projects is required.
• Pipe bending skills are preferred.
• Must have a great attitude and be hardworking.
• Ability to pass a security clearance is preferred.
• Must provide own tools and transportation.
• Able to supply references from previous roles.

Responsibilities

• Learn from the Foreman and complete all assigned duties.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and assist with repairs of electrical faults.
• Interpret blueprints and schematics.
• Update logs and client accounts; handle admin duties.
• Order replacement parts and equipment as needed.
• Complete electrical installations and maintenance tasks.
• Communicate with clients professionally.
• Collaborate with construction workers and crew.
• Perform other duties as required.

What You Will Do

• Learning from the Foreman and completing all assigned duties
• Identifying, analyzing, troubleshooting, and assisting with repairs of equipment and electrical faults
• Interpreting blueprints and schematics
• Updating work logs, client accounts, and handling other administrative duties
• Ordering replacement parts and equipment as needed
• Completing electrical installations and carrying out various maintenance duties
• Communicating with clients in a professional, courteous manner always
• Collaborating with construction workers, plumbers, and other crew members
• Performs other duties as required

Salary Range

$21.50 to $43.00 per hour based on experience
