Job summary

Kovac Electrical Group Ltd. is seeking an Apprentice Electrician to join our Vancouver area crew. You will gain hands-on training in commercial electrical work while building skills for a long-term career in the trade.

You will learn from the Foreman, assist with repairs, interpret blueprints, and handle logs and parts ordering. A strong work ethic, reliable transportation, and references are required, with security clearance preferred.

Qualifications

  • Experience on commercial electrical projects (Pipe bending skills required).
  • Great attitude and hardworking.
  • Ability to pass a security clearance process preferred.
  • Ability to provide your own tools.

Responsibilities

  • Learning from the Foreman and completing all assigned duties.
  • Identifying, analyzing, troubleshooting, and assisting with repairs of equipment and electrical faults.
  • Interpreting blueprints and schematics.
  • Updating work logs, client accounts, and handling other administrative duties.
  • Ordering replacement parts and equipment as needed.
  • Completing electrical installations and carrying out maintenance duties.
  • Communicating with clients in a professional, courteous manner.
  • Collaborating with construction workers, plumbers, and other crew members.

What You Will Do

Salary Range: $21.50 to $43.00 per hour based on experience
