Job summary

West Cirque Construction is seeking an Apprentice Carpenter to assist in the construction of commercial and residential projects in the Saskatoon region, contributing to quality workmanship and on-site safety. Reporting to the Site Superintendent, you will perform framing and finish carpentry tasks, support subtrades, and help maintain site cleanliness and organization.

Enrollment in a carpentry apprenticeship (3rd or 4th year) or completion of Journeyman Carpentry is preferred; a valid driver’s

Qualifications

• Experience in residential framing.
• Enrollment in Carpentry apprenticeship program (3rd/4th year) or Journeyman completion.
• Finish carpentry experience is an asset.
• Knowledge of building and safety codes.

Responsibilities

• Adherence to building codes and safety requirements on all sites.
• Carpentry work including framing and finish tasks.
• Oversight of subtrade work and quality inspections.
• Touch ups and repairs as needed; report issues to superintendent.
• Operate power tools and mentor less experienced workers.
• Maintain site cleanliness and organization.
