Job summary

Mercedes-Benz Newmarket, part of Zanchin Automotive Group, is looking for an Apprentice Technician to join the team and perform vehicle maintenance and repairs while developing practical skills in a fast-paced dealership environment.

The role requires 1–3 years of Lube/Tire Apprentice experience, a post-secondary diploma or equivalent, and a valid driver’s license with a clean abstract. Pay ranges from $18.00 to $21.00 per hour, based on experience, with benefits and career growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 1 to 3 years proven experience as a Lube/Tire Apprentice Technician.
• Post-secondary diploma, or equivalent experience.
• Valid Driver's License with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic vehicle care and maintenance, including oil change, lubrication work, filter replacement, and tire rotation/replacement.
• Communicate with the Service Advisor and Shop Foreman to provide updates regarding the vehicle.
• Document all vehicle repair and maintenance performed, on the repair order.
• Road tests vehicles, as required.
