Job summary

Fix Network World is seeking an Automotive Service Apprentice to support all aspects of the Service Operations. You will perform vehicle maintenance and repairs as assigned, and examine vehicles to determine what work is required. You will also support technicians in other tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be registered as a 3rd or 4th Year Automotive Service Technician Apprentice.
• Ability to communicate technical information in a simple manner.
• Ability to pay attention to detail.
• Exceptional customer service skills with the desire to exceed customer expectations.
• Valid G2 or G License with a clean driving record.
• Excellent problem solving and conflict resolution skills.
• Willing to learn more as a part of further personal development.

Responsibilities

• Understand all aspects of the Service Operation.
• Perform vehicle maintenance and repairs as assigned.
• Examine vehicles to determine if additional safety or service work is required.
• Maintain high level of customer service and satisfaction.
• Assist with technical issues as needed.
• Maintain a safe and productive working environment.
• Perform tire rotations, mount and balance and repair of tires.
• Drain and fill, flush fluids using specified fluid grades upon request.
• Clean or replace batteries upon request.
• Replace air, cabin air and fuel filters upon request.
• Complete reports to record problems and work performed.
• Maintain a clean and safe upper and lower bay area before, during and after vehicle servicing.

Job description

The Automotive Service Apprentice be supporting in all aspects of the Service Operations. He will be performing vehicle maintenance and repairs as assigned as well as examine vehicles to determine what work is required. The Automotive Service Apprentice will also support technicians in other tasks, as required. The hourly rate for this position starts at $21.00, with final compensation determined based on relevant experience and qualifications.
