Job summary

Midas is seeking an automotive technician apprentice for our Calgary, Alberta location. The role involves diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance across a full-service facility. You will work independently when needed while collaborating with peers to ensure quality service.

Qualifications include a Provincial Certificate of Qualification, valid driver’s license, and own/tools; willingness to work Saturdays is required. Experience with brake, exhaust, suspension, and diagnostic tools is valued.

Qualifications

• Ability to repair vehicles independently, while also having experience working well in a team environment.
• Knowledge in automotive brakes, exhaust, suspension, tires & engine diagnostics
• Track record of high personal productivity
• Knowledge of, and adherence to, safety and environmental standards for repair facilities
• Experience using shop equipment such as lifts, tire changing equipment, alignment machines and diagnostic tools
• Provincial Certificate of Qualification
• Valid driver’s license
• Own tools/equipment (some diagnostic tools preferred also)
• Able to service both import and domestic vehicles
• Must be willing to work on Saturday

At Midas, we provide quality vehicle inspection, diagnosis, and repair services, drawing on years of automotive repair expertise. You are currently registered as an apprentice in Alberta.

We are looking for automotive technicians who are able to work independently of others, while also being able to work collaboratively at times with peers. We have a full-service facility, and we are looking for automotive technicians to help us create an environment of success!
