Job summary

UPS is hiring an Apprentice automotive fleet technician in Ontario. The role involves repairing, inspecting and maintaining UPS diesel, propane, CNG and gasoline vehicles. Applicants must obtain Red Seal 310T/310S apprenticeships and bring essential trade tools, a clean driver's abstract, and a safe driving record.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift to 70 lbs unassisted.
• Willing to work evening and/or night shifts in a fast-paced environment.
• Must attain Red Seal 310T apprentice and 310S apprentice licenses.
• Must possess essential trade tools and equipment.
• Must have a clean driver’s abstract/record and a safe driving history.
• Pass a pre-employment road test.

Responsibilities

• Operate and test UPS company vehicles within facilities and on public roads.
• Repair, inspect and maintain UPS diesel, propane, CNG and gasoline vehicles.
• Provide timely maintenance and report issues to ensure fleet readiness.
