Job summary

Steele Valley Chevrolet, part of Steele Auto Group, is seeking an Apprentice Technician to join our Service Team. You will learn on the job, work alongside experienced technicians, and gain hands-on experience with routine maintenance and vehicle repairs, building confidence to grow into a skilled technician.

You will diagnose concerns, perform inspections, and learn modern automotive technology while maintaining records and communicating with customers about work performed and future needs.

Qualifications

• Registered Automotive Service Technician Apprentice or working toward completing apprenticeship.
• Strong interest in automotive trade.
• Basic knowledge of automotive systems, maintenance and repair.
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driver’s abstract.

Responsibilities

• Inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing automotive systems, parts, and components.
• Testing and adjusting repairs to meet manufacturer specifications.
• Communicating with customers about completed work, vehicle condition, and future repair needs.
• Diagnosing vehicle concerns and confirming findings with the appropriate team members.
• Maintaining accurate records of repairs, concerns, and work performed.
