Steele Auto Group in St. John's, NL is seeking an Automotive Apprentice Technician to begin hands-on training with Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, and RAM vehicles. You will learn from certified pros and build your skills from day one.

You will diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles, document work, and collaborate with seasoned technicians while developing your career within Steele's Total Rewards program.

Qualifications

• Passion for automotive industry.
• Strong organizational skills and reliable work ethic.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Valid MV Inspection License preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair vehicle systems (brakes, steering, suspension, drivability).

What You Will Be Doing:

From day one, you will roll up your sleeves and get hands‑on with:

• Diagnosing and repairing vehicle systems (brakes, steering, suspension, drivability issues - you name it).
• Performing routine and advanced maintenance tasks.
• Working efficiently and independently in the shop.
• Keeping repair documentation neat, accurate, and up to date.
• Teaming up with seasoned techs to sharpen your skills.

What You Bring to the Bay:

• Passionate about the automotive industry
• Well organized, possess a good work ethic and a positive attitude
• Hard working, self‑motivated and have excellent time management skills
• Have a valid driver's license and be able to provide an acceptable driver's abstract
• Have a valid Motor Vehicle Inspection License
