Job summary

SIGA is hiring to support maintenance and development of corporate enterprise and gaming software applications by leading implementation, maintenance and administration of purchased applications.

Responsibilities include installs, configuration, monitoring, security administration, after-hours CMS support, documentation, and participation in projects to ensure system availability for SIGA's operations.

Qualifications

• Two-year diploma in Computer Information Systems or related field.
• ITIL Foundation certification is required.
• Four years' IT experience with a diploma; 2 years with a university degree.

Job description

This position supports the maintenance and development of SIGA's corporate enterprise and gaming software applications, by leading the implementation, maintenance, and administration of purchased applications.

Responsibilities

Carrying out application installs and configuration. Performing daily/weekly/monthly maintenance tasks on applications. Monitoring systems and applications, and making recommendations to maximize performance and availability. Administering application security including creating security groups, user rights, and performing security audits. Providing support and troubleshooting of SIGA applications, including after-hours support of SIGA's Casino Management Systems (CMS). Establishing and maintaining information and documentation relating to supported applications. Contributing technical expertise and analysis with the goal of improving systems and processes. Leading or participating in small to enterprise-wide projects, such as application upgrades and implementations. Participating in other projects and activities as required, to ensure the availability of applications to support SIGA's operations.

Qualifications

Successful completion of a two-year diploma/certificate in Computer Information Systems or a related discipline. A degree in Computer Science would be an asset. ITIL Foundation certification. Four years' experience in Information Technology with a diploma. 2 years with a university degree. At least 2 years of application support system administration or enterprise software deployment experience. Technical Experience in the following: end user support, application support and testing, training users and creation of technical documentation
