Job summary

ECO Canada, based in Calgary, is seeking an Applications Developer to join the Applications Development team. You will design, build, and maintain web applications using C#/.NET, SQL, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, and Next.js, collaborating with stakeholders to deliver practical solutions.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree preferred in software engineering or CS.
2+ years of professional software development experience.
Hands-on experience with C#/.NET and SQL.
Experience designing both front-end and back-end components.
Familiar with GitHub or Azure DevOps workflows.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain business applications and integrations.
Develop and enhance applications using C#/.NET, SQL, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, Next.js.
Collaborate with stakeholders and other developers to understand requirements.
Develop and maintain APIs, web services, and third-party integrations.
Work with SQL and relational databases, including queries and reports.
Use GitHub and/or Azure DevOps to manage code and deployments.
Participate in code reviews, testing, and documentation.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues and investigate existing code.
Work with Dynamics 365/Dataverse and other business apps.
Participate in technical projects, upgrades, migrations, and initiatives.
