Description

As part of the Construction Services team, the Project Applications Analyst plays a key role in supporting financial system inquiries within Constructors and Ledcor Technical Services (LTS). In this role, you will provide tier 2 customer service to employees, managers, and project teams regarding construction services such as BillFlex, ServiceMax, and InEight. You will address inquiries through various communication channels, including phone calls, chat messages, and written questions, acting as the first point of contact for Construction Services. You will coordinate queries with relevant teams, maintain communication with employees throughout the process, and ensure a positive employee experience.

Essential Responsibilities:
  1. Respond to escalated inquiries via phone, ServiceNow cases, and chat, resolving issues through basic research using core management systems, operational manuals, or collaboration with Construction Services team members.
  2. Provide training, troubleshooting, and system setup assistance; support ongoing maintenance and analyze system performance, user issues, and process inefficiencies to identify areas for improvement.
  3. Serve as a key resource for resolving system-related issues in Construction Services applications.
  4. Identify and report unexpected data or system behaviors, as well as recurring questions from employees or project teams, to the Supervisor.
  5. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by partnering with the Supervisor and cross-functional teams to address recurring issues and enhance the employee experience.
  6. Collaborate closely with Business Employee Services teams to ensure timely issue resolution and support service quality enhancements.
  7. Develop and maintain strong working relationships with Business Employee Services and Finance Operations teams to foster effective communication, collaboration, and problem resolution.
  8. Ensure smooth and consistent issue resolution across multiple ServiceNow instances and other platforms where inquiries may originate.
  9. Act as a liaison between internal teams to ensure accurate and timely responses to all system-related inquiries.
Qualifications:
  1. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Construction Technology, or a related field preferred.
  2. Minimum of 1–2 years of experience supporting financial systems or construction services.
  3. Strong working knowledge of financial systems such as JDE, Hyperion HFM, InEight, ServiceMaxx, and Concur.
  4. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
  5. Effective communication and active listening skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and persuasively.
  6. High level of accuracy and attention to detail in data analysis and deliverables.
  7. Demonstrated ability to interpret and analyze large datasets and understand data flow within key financial processes.
  8. Solid understanding of accounting business cycles and internal control principles.
  9. Proven ability to manage multiple tasks, meet tight deadlines, and adapt to shifting priorities.
  10. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  11. Excellent interpersonal and organizational abilities.
  12. Familiarity with industry-specific knowledge or practices is considered an asset.
