Job summary

Procom seeks an Application Developer for a 12-month contract in Toronto, to join the Data & Digital team within Engineering, Innovation & Architecture. You will design, develop, modernize, and support APIs and cloud-native solutions powering enterprise data platforms and AI-enabled workflows.

The role requires 5+ years in software/cloud roles and 3+ years with C#, .NET, Python, SQL, Blazor; experience with AWS/Azure DevOps, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines is essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in software development, cloud engineering, DevOps, or data engineering.
• 3+ years hands-on development with C#, .NET/.NET Core, Python, SQL, Blazor or similar.
• Proven experience designing, developing, deploying, and supporting enterprise applications and APIs in production environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and support applications, APIs, and cloud-native solutions.
• Participate in application modernization, code reviews, testing, and production support activities.
• Troubleshoot complex application and integration issues and implement sustainable solutions.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code, and deployment automation frameworks.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning, application deployments, monitoring, and operational processes.
• Support and enhance modern data and analytics platforms, including Snowflake and related technologies.
