Job summary

Procom is seeking an AI Engineer for a permanent role in Toronto. You will design and develop AI-enabled workflows to enhance mortgage processes, including agentic workflows and document intelligence.

Responsibilities include translating business rules into modular prompts and retrieval pipelines, building production-quality code with Python, SQL and FastAPI, and integrating AI services; you will create test cases, support UAT and releases, and monitor systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/engineering/data science or related field.
• 5+ years in software/AI engineering or applied AI.
• Experience with production AI solutions including RAG and agentic workflows.
• Strong Python, SQL, APIs and cloud services proficiency.
• Understanding of retrieval quality, prompt testing and error analysis.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams through design and production release.
