Job summary

Randstad Digital is seeking an experienced Application Systems Developer to manage and enhance core information systems within a health regulatory setting in Toronto. You will automate processes, design scalable solutions, and maintain data integrity across Power Platform, Dynamics 365, SharePoint, and BI tools.

The role requires strong SQL, Excel/Access proficiency, and a collaborative approach in a small team environment. Hybrid work model with central Toronto office.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, IS/Tech, Data Science, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in information systems administration and development with Power Platform.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Pages, Dataverse).
• Hands-on experience with Dynamics 365 (administration, customization, workflow automation, plugins, and API integrations).
• Strong SQL background for data querying, analysis, and report generation.
• Proficiency in Excel (VBA, pivot tables, complex formulas, macros) and Access (queries, VBA, reports).

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and optimize solutions using the Power Platform and Dynamics 365, including custom workflows, plugins, and API integrations.
• Develop, monitor, and execute complex data tracking tools, SQL queries, reports, and interactive dashboards for internal departments.
• Evaluate existing systems, analyze business requirements, and recommend technical enhancements to streamline operations.
• Conduct regular testing, data clean-up, and accuracy checks across Dynamics 365, SharePoint, and Power Platform to resolve discrepancies.
• Provide technical, procedural, and statistical support to internal team members and collaborate cross-functionally to improve system visibility and security.

About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Application Systems Developer with deep expertise across the Microsoft Power Platform and Dynamics 365. Reporting to the IT Manager, you will maintain day-to-day operations of core information systems, drive process automation, design scalable solutions, and ensure high standards of data integrity and business intelligence across the organization.

Main Responsibilities

• System Development & Automation: Design, build, and optimize solutions using the Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Pages, Dataverse) and Microsoft Dynamics 365, including custom workflows, plugins, and API integrations.
• Reporting & Data Analysis: Develop, monitor, and execute complex data tracking tools, SQL queries, reports, and interactive dashboards for internal departments.

Must Haves

• Education: Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Systems/Technology, Data Science, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years in information systems administration and development, with hands-on expertise in Microsoft Power Platform solutions.
• Technical Proficiency:
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Pages, Dataverse).
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (administration, customization, workflow automation, plugins, and API integrations).

• Salary: $85,000 – $120,000 per year, based on experience.
