Position Overview: Reporting to the Provincial Patient Safety Lead, the Application Administrator provides administrative and technical support for RL6 occurrence reporting software, with highest system administrator rights for the provincial RL system.

Experience:

• Minimum of five (5) years in a health information environment, focusing on data management, analysis, and quality.
• Knowledge and experience with software application administration.

Education:

• Post-secondary degree/diploma in Computer Science or related field, or relevant education and experience.

Additional Training:

• Certificate in Quality Management/Patient Safety is an asset.

Certification:

• Valid driver’s license required.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Knowledge in quality and patient safety assessment, performance measurement, and data analysis.
• Experience with quality improvement tools like LEAN Six Sigma, PDSA, FMEA, Root Cause Analysis.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with stakeholders and audiences.
• Experience in change management, working under pressure, problem-solving, and proficiency in MS Office.

Physical Requirements:

• Flexible hours, overtime, and travel with a valid Manitoba driver’s license.
