Job summary

Kent Building Supplies is seeking a Part Time Appliance Sales Associate to help customers with appliance selections and close sales, while building relationships and providing expert advice. Wage starts at 16.15 CAD per hour with incentives for Extended Protection Plans.

The role requires flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, and a focus on customer service. You will engage customers, offer product knowledge, and support delivery, warranty options, and financing, aiming to meet weekly

Qualifications

• Proven ability to close sales.
• Experience in fast-paced customer service and retail sales; appliance sales is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales through customer engagement and product knowledge.
• Provide face-to-face assistance with home appliance products, warranty plans, delivery options, and financing, focusing on closing the sale.
• Work with builders, designers, rental managers, and homeowners to sell a wide range of appliances.
• Prepare estimates, close sales, and follow up on deliveries.
• Assist customers with special orders and install sales.
• Maintain relationships and resolve customer needs or complaints.
• Meet personal and team sales targets while achieving margin goals.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales through engagement of customers, suggestive selling, and sharing product knowledge.
• Provide face-to-face assistance to customers with specialized and sound advice on all home appliance products as well as supporting products, warranty plans, pickup and delivery options, and payment and financing options, with the focus being on closing the sale.
• Work with a wide range of customers, including builders, designers, rental management companies, and homeowners to sell a wide range of appliance products.
• Prepare estimates, close the sale, and follow up on deliveries.
• Assist Customers with special orders and install sales.
• Maintain and develop relationships with customers, addressing and resolving customer needs and/or complaints.
• Meet personal and team productivity targets, achieving the weekly, monthly, and annual sales targets while meeting margin goals.
  

Qualifications

• Professional Sales Experience with the proven ability to close the sale.
• Sales Experience in a fast-paced customer service and sales environment in Retail, Appliance Sales experience is an asset.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
