Job summary

Swim Recruiting is seeking an Accounts Payable Manager in Vancouver to lead a team of eight and drive transformation of the AP function, building on a strong foundation and high engagement. You will mentor AP specialists, implement new policies, oversee full-cycle AP, manage vendor relations, and push automation with IT collaboration, while developing talent and improving processes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Accounts Payable with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Effective people management skills including coaching and performance development.
• Post-secondary diploma or degree in business administration, finance or related discipline preferred.
• Ability to manage confidential information and drive process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of AP specialists and an AP supervisor.
• Design, document, and implement AP policies and procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Oversee full-cycle accounts payable including invoice entry, coding, approvals, and payments.
• Collaborate with IT and finance to leverage automation and digitization.
