Job summary

Calgary Humane Society is seeking a Development Officer – Annual Giving to drive donor acquisition, retention and revenue growth through integrated campaigns.

You will manage donor journeys, steward relationships, and collaborate with teams to craft compelling fundraising appeals across mail, email, and digital channels. The role requires a data-driven approach and occasional evenings/weekends for events.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years of progressive fundraising experience.
• Experience managing annual giving programs, direct mail and digital campaigns.
• Strong data analysis, donor segmentation and reporting skills.
• Experience with donor databases/CRM; Raiser's Edge NXT is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive annual giving strategy focused on donor acquisition, retention, reactivation and growth.
• Manage and grow donor portfolios through fundraising and stewardship initiatives.
• Plan, develop, and evaluate annual campaigns across direct mail, email and digital channels.
• Collaborate with philanthropy and communications to craft donor communications and appeals.
• Ensure campaigns align with organizational priorities and brand standards.
