Ethos Veterinary Health's Mississauga 24/7 emergency hospital is hiring an Animal Care Attendant. You will assist veterinarians and RVTs, support patients, and help maintain a clean, welcoming hospital environment in a fast-paced setting.

The role requires Ontario Secondary School Diploma, 1+ year veterinary hospital experience, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and willingness to work 12-hour shifts including overnights and weekends. Fluency in English is required.

Qualifications

• Ontario Secondary School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1+ year of veterinary hospital experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians and Registered Veterinary Technicians with hands-on patient care
• Support patients independently and as part of the veterinary care team
• Help maintain a clean, safe, organized, and welcoming animal hospital environment
• Communicate with clients and provide updates, support, and reassurance during stressful situations
• Assist with billing, payments, and light administrative responsibilities
• Work collaboratively with the emergency and specialty team to support efficient patient care
• Adapt to changing priorities and patient needs in a fast-paced emergency veterinary environment

Veterinary Emergency & Referral Hospital of West Toronto is hiring a full-time Animal Care Attendant (ACA) in Mississauga, ON. This is an opportunity to build your veterinary hospital experience while working alongside Registered Veterinary Technicians (RVTs) and emergency veterinarians in a 24/7 emergency and specialty hospital.

Compensation

• CA$18.00–CA$23.00/hour
