Job summary

Lyft’s Safety & Customer Care team is seeking a Data Analytics Lead to partner with product, engineering, data science and operations to drive improvements in our customer support experience. You will design solutions, build dashboards, and run analyses to influence strategic decisions and customer impact.

The role requires translating complex business problems into clear requirements, strong communication, and hands-on SQL/Python analytics in a fast-growing environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in a quantitative field (statistics, economics, applied math, operations research or engineering) required.
• 2+ years of hands-on data science or analytical experience in a high-growth startup.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Product, Engineering, Data Science & Analytics, Business Operations and other cross-functional stakeholders to achieve business goals.
• Develop frameworks and scalable processes to drive decision-making and prioritization.
• Define the metrics to measure success and build dashboards to track them.
• Design A/B tests and analyze impact of new features and improvements.
• Deliver data-driven insights and recommendations to improve customer support experiences.
