RBCx Analytics in Toronto seeks an innovative Analytics Engineer to build and scale data infrastructure, models, and dashboards. You will collaborate with RBCx and RBC partners to translate strategic goals into scalable data solutions and ensure data quality and observability across pipelines.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of analytics/ data engineering experience.
• Strong SQL and Python for data modeling, automation, and pipelines; dbt a plus.
• Design and implement ETL/ELT pipelines with focus on data quality and performance.
• Experience with large-scale relational databases and data platforms.
• Knowledge of Git and CI/CD for data pipelines.
• Ownership for data quality, reliability, and performance.
• Business acumen, curiosity, communication, high attention to detail, and strong technical skills.
• Experience managing data tools/platforms and leading knowledge sharing sessions.
• Proven ability to communicate analytics to business partners and/or C‑level.
• Ability to influence stakeholders cross-functionally through data.

Responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and optimize the data analytics stack including ETL pipelines, orchestration, and data infrastructure
• Own and evolve data models and pipelines that drive data assets, dashboards, reporting, and downstream analysis
• Collaborate with RBCx and RBC partners to translate core business goals into scalable data solutions
• Apply best practices for data testing, observability, and CI/CD to ensure reliable data products
• Contribute to internal data documentation and governance practices
• Develop strong relationships with stakeholders to achieve superior business results
• Communicate technical approaches and data insights effectively to influence decision making at senior leadership levels
