Job summary

TAS Techno Aero Services is seeking a Senior IT Business Analyst – SAP HR/HCM to join a team of SAP specialists on the North Shore of Montreal. The role combines business analysis, SAP HCM configuration and functional consulting in a highly regulated industrial environment.

You will contribute to the HR/Payroll domain, supporting the upcoming SAP SuccessFactors migration and ongoing system improvements with direct business impact. This permanent position offers a hands-on, collaborative setting.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of SAP HR/HCM experience, preferably in ECC6 environment.
• Hands-on experience across OM, PA, TM, CATS and PY modules.

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze and document business, functional and non-functional requirements.
• Perform hands-on SAP HCM configuration across OM, PA, TM / Time Evaluation, CATS and PY modules.
• Work with Time Evaluation and Payroll schemas, PCRs, quotas and calculation rules.
• Investigate and resolve functional incidents, change requests and system enhancements.
• Develop functional specifications, perform impact analyses and support integration testing.
• Support HR and payroll changes involving collective agreements, premiums, benefits and time management rules.
• Collaborate with SAP specialists, IT teams and internal stakeholders.
• Contribute to ongoing improvements in SAP ECC6 with upcoming migration toward SAP SuccessFactors.

Senior IT Business Analyst – SAP HR / HCM | Functional Analysis & Configuration

The Opportunity

TAS Techno Aero Services is looking for a Senior IT Business Analyst – SAP HR / HCM to join a well-established organization operating in a complex, highly regulated industrial and technology environment.

You'll be joining a team of approximately 10 SAP specialists, contributing to the continuous improvement of HR systems and an exciting technology roadmap, including an upcoming migration to SAP SuccessFactors.

This is a truly hands-on functional role, combining business analysis, SAP HCM configuration and functional consulting.

We're looking for someone who enjoys translating business needs into effective SAP solutions while remaining directly involved in configuration, testing and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze and document business, functional and non-functional requirements.
• Perform hands-on SAP HCM configuration across OM, PA, TM / Time Evaluation, CATS and PY modules.
• Work with Time Evaluation and Payroll schemas, PCRs, quotas and calculation rules.
• Investigate and resolve functional incidents, change requests and system enhancements.
• Develop functional specifications, perform impact analyses and support integration testing.
• Support HR and payroll changes involving collective agreements, premiums, benefits and time management rules.
• Collaborate closely with SAP specialists, IT teams and internal business stakeholders.
• Contribute to ongoing improvements in an SAP ECC6 environment, with an upcoming transition toward SuccessFactors.

What We're Looking For

• Minimum 3-5 years of SAP HR / HCM experience, preferably in an ECC6 environment.
• Strong background combining functional business analysis AND hands-on SAP HCM configuration.
• Practical experience with at least 3 modules among OM, PA, TM, CATS and PY.
• Knowledge of Time Evaluation / Payroll schemas, PCRs and calculation rules.
• Solid understanding of HR, time management and payroll business processes.
• Strong analytical skills, autonomy and the ability to collaborate with technical and business teams.
• Strong French communication skills and good working knowledge of English.

Nice to have: experience in manufacturing, aerospace, defence or unionized environments; SAP SuccessFactors exposure or participation in HR transformation projects.
