Cascades is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer on the South Shore to lead design and execution of foundation and underpinning projects. You will act as the technical pillar, guiding projects from concept through construction while promoting innovative and safe solutions.

Qualifications

• University degree in Civil Engineering (Structural profile)
• Member in good standing of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ)
• 10 years of relevant experience in structural design, underpinning or foundations
• Proven proficiency in load calculations and evaluating complex plans
• Demonstrated technical leadership and mentoring abilities

Responsibilities

• Design, verify, and seal foundation and piling plans, including soldier piles/Berlin walls
• Act as technical expert to ensure compliance and safety on construction sites
• Provide advanced technical support to project managers for permanent corrective solutions
• Support field operations and after-sales service with complex technical challenges
• Supervise and mentor a team of drafters, engineers, and technicians
• Participate in developing technical policies and advise leadership in management meetings
