Job summary

Staples Canada in Richmond Hill is seeking a Space Planning Coordinator to develop floor plans in partnership with the Macro Space Planner and Category teams. You will assist with store layouts for new stores, renovations, and reflows using AutoCAD, Blue Yonder floor planning and related tools.

You will work with the Space Planning team to reflect planograms across locations and support assortment execution by allocating space based on store size and format.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education or equivalent experience.
• Strong knowledge and experience in Space Planning Software; AutoCAD preferred.
• Macro space planning experience is an asset.
• Proficiency in MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• 1-2 years of experience in retail, merchandising, or space planning preferred.

• Maintain accuracy of store maps and space planning data on an ongoing basis.

Physical Demands/working Conditions

• Office environment - Hybrid, with 4 days onsite in Richmond Hill, subject to the hybrid policy.
