Job summary

Bombardier Transportation GmbH in Canada is seeking a Senior Engineering Analyst for Projects, Aircraft Design and Development. You will lead work packages, coordinate multi-disciplinary teams across the program and ensure adherence to schedules and budgets.

The role requires a engineering degree, 5+ years in aerospace, strong communication, proficiency in MS Office and PLM tools like Siemens Teamcenter. Hybrid work options support collaboration with global teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent qualification.
• Master's degree and/or PMI certification is considered an asset.
• Five or more years of relevant experience with multidisciplinary teams in aerospace engineering.
• Experience supporting development programs through product lifecycle stages.
• Excellent communication and multitasking skills, with the ability to influence without direct authority.
• Strong knowledge in a technical field with broad understanding of aircraft systems.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office: MS Project, PowerPoint, Excel.
• Experience with PLM tools such as Siemens Teamcenter is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Develop work package (WP) Statement of Work in line with program requirements.
• Harmonize WP schedule and rally technical teams toward meeting the schedule including supplier.
• Ensure measures to organize and control tasks, priorities & budget with visibility to issues and risks and mitigation plans.
• Organize and chair Integrated Working Team (IWT) meetings and periodic reviews following BES development phases.
• Be an active participant in Integrated Product Development Team (IPDT) and rally WP participation.
• Prepare visibility on the work package and associated deliverables per aircraft level requirements.
• Participate in program, supplier and technical reviews providing support and visibility to team and management.
• Ensure PMO process oversight and adherence to TRL requirements, maturity & Exit Gate Criteria, and budget control.
• Coordinate with Bombardier Flight Test Center, Completions, and others.
• Assist for generic tools deployment with platforms and prepare Bombardier PM policies.
• Deploy lessons learned and best project practices onto the platform.
• Provide platform support to PMO change harmonization and lead planning/execution of required technical changes.

What are your contributions to the team?

• Deploy process for Lessons Learned and Best Project Practices onto the platform
• Provide platform support to the PMO change harmonization process and lead the planning and execution of the required technical changes.

How to thrive in this role?

• You have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or an equivalent qualification. A Master's degree and/or PMI certification is considered an asset.
• You have Bombardier experience and a good working knowledge of the BES (Bombardier Engineering System).
  • In the absence of Bombardier Aerospace (BA) knowledge, you are able to clearly demonstrate how your previous work experience has prepared you to lead the definition, implementation, and execution of complex engineering projects.
• You have five (5) or more years of relevant experience working with multidisciplinary teams in a specific aerospace engineering field.
• You have experience supporting one or more development programs through various stages of the product lifecycle.
• You have excellent communication and multitasking skills, with the ability to influence without direct authority.
• You have strong knowledge in a specific technical field, along with a broad understanding of multiple aircraft systems.
• You have advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, including MS Project, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• You have experience with PLM tools such as Siemens Teamcenter, which is considered an asset.
• You are a highly organized individual with strong leadership skills and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
• You demonstrate a logical and flexible mindset, take initiative, and are able to balance both a high-level perspective and attention to detail.
