Job summary

Bombardier in Canada is seeking a seasoned finance professional to join the Budget Management team. You will analyze budget envelopes, present findings to management, and drive governance for program and engineering budgets.

The role requires five plus years of experience, proficiency in SAP, PowerBI, and MS Office, and bilingual communication. A hybrid work arrangement is offered along with competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits program.

Qualifications

• University degree in management or finance or equivalent.
• More than five years of relevant experience.
• Experience using ERP systems; SAP is an asset.
• MS Office, TEAMS, PowerBI, and database management knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, monitor and control the budgetary envelopes of the Program team.
• Present your analysis and recommend budget strategies to management teams.
• Manage budget governance and prepare content (Key indicators, Variations, Risks & Opportunities).
• Establish budget schedules and guide teams toward milestones.
• Establish performance criteria for strategic envelopes and monitor achievement.
• Help define and maintain a governance calendar for the management team.
• Contribute to defining and maintaining standardized tools for budget management of program and engineering teams.
• Identify and manage risks & opportunities with functional teams.
• Guide a team in solving problems and establishing new processes.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of the budget process and standardize templates.
• Work in a multi-functional environment interacting with all levels of management.
• Maintain a large volume of financial data efficiently and rigorously.
