Axium Infrastructure, based in Montreal, seeks an Analyst to support Investor Relations initiatives. You will help prepare responses to RFPs/RFIs, coordinate data requests, and perform financial analyses with Investments, Fund Performance and Accounting teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Commerce, with a major in Finance and/or Accounting.
• Two years of experience in a finance, accounting or similar position.
• CPA and/or CFA designation is considered an asset.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the preparation and coordination of responses to RFPs, RFIs and DDQs.
• Complete data requests from consultants on various platforms.
• In collaboration with the investment, accounting and fund performance teams, perform financial analyses relating to fund performance.

Based in our Montreal office and reporting to the Director, Investor Relations, the Analyst will support the team in the preparation of various financial analyses and reports for clients and potential investors. The person will also work closely with the Investments, Fund Performance, Responsible Investment and Accounting teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in the preparation and coordination of responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Requests for Information (RFIs) and Due Diligence Questionnaires (DDQs).
• Complete data requests from consultants on various platforms.
• In collaboration with the investment, accounting and fund performance teams, perform various financial analyses relating to the performance of the funds and the investment portfolio.
• Prepare quarterly client statements and update presentations for client meetings.
• Provide assistance with quarterly/annual reporting of funds to investors.

Professional Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Commerce, with a major in Finance and/or Accounting.
• Two (2) years of experience in a finance, accounting or similar position.
• CPA and/or CFA designation is considered an asset.

Knowledge And Skills

• Understanding of and interest in investments, industry transactions and private markets.
• Strong technical skills and analytical abilities - understanding of financial statements and investment performance measures.
• Ability to analyze and communicate complex financial information clearly.
• Great attention to detail, highest degree of rigor.
• Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team.
• Excellent management of competing priorities and organizational skills.
• Excellent command of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint and Copilot).
• Interest in developing AI tools to optimize the team's efficiency in the management and preparation of RFPs and DDQs.
• Bilingual in both spoken and written French and English, in order to interact daily with colleagues in offices outside Quebec as well as with external partners across Canada, the United States, and internationally.
