Job summary

Elby Professional Recruitment's client in Mississauga is seeking an FP&A Analyst to partner with Finance, Sales and operations to analyze performance, identify trends, and provide actionable insights that support budgeting, forecasting and strategic decision-making.

You will develop dashboards and reports, prepare monthly P&L analysis, collaborate cross-functionally, and translate data into clear recommendations for senior management and divisional meetings.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of FP&A or financial analysis experience, ideally in manufacturing/distribution.
• CPA or pursuing is an asset.
• Strong Excel skills; Power BI experience is an asset.
• Excellent communication and business partnering skills.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Finance, Sales and operations to provide financial and analytical support.

Our client, a well-established organization within the manufacturing industry, is seeking an FP&A Analyst to join their team in Mississauga. This is an excellent opportunity for an analytical and commercially minded finance professional who enjoys going beyond the numbers and partnering with the business to support operational and financial decision-making. The successful candidate will work closely with Finance, Sales and operational teams to analyze business performance, identify trends and variances, and provide meaningful insights and recommendations. This role offers the opportunity to have a direct impact on the business through financial analysis, reporting, forecasting and decision support, with strong exposure to day-to-day business operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with Finance, Sales and operational teams to provide financial and analytical support to the business.
• Analyze financial and operational performance against budget and historical results, identifying trends, variances and opportunities.
• Provide meaningful insights and recommendations to support business and operational decision-making.
• Prepare monthly reporting, including customer analysis, P&L variance analysis and KPI scorecards.
• Support the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes.
• Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports to provide visibility into financial and operational performance.
• Prepare presentations and financial analysis for senior management and divisional meetings.
• Gather and analyze data from cross-functional teams to understand business needs and support financial strategies.
• Provide ad-hoc financial and operational analysis as required.
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial and operational data and reporting.

Qualifications
