Job summary

Bombardier Transportation GmbH in Quebec invites a skilled accounting professional to join our team. You will analyze capital expenditures spends, manage month-end activities, collaborate with plant engineering, ensure accounting policies are respected, and participate in the budget process, all within a flexible hybrid work environment.

We require a bachelor’s degree in accounting with a CPA designation or in progress, 2–7 years of experience, excellent Excel skills, and knowledge of SAP.

• Analyze and present capital expenditures spends.

• Participate in the budget process and plant centralization.

What are your contributions to the team?

• Analyze and present capital expenditures spends, and plant engineering expenses.
• Responsible of month end activities.
• Collaborate with the plant engineering teams.
• Ensure accounting policies are respected.
• Support any ad-hoc requests, including the ones from our auditors, both internal and external.
• Participate in the budget process throughout the year.
• Participate in the Plant Engineering centralization

How to thrive in this role?

• You have a bachelor’s degree in accounting as well as a CPA designation or in the process of obtaining one
• You have from 2 to 7 years of experience
• You have an excellent knowledge of Excel
• You have a good ability for teamwork, you are rigorous and resourceful
• You have knowledge of SAP
• You have good communication skills in French and English
• You are creative and autonomous
