Job summary

Bass Pro Shops in Calgary (Rocky View), AB, is looking for an Ammunition Specialist to join as a part-time team member. You will help customers with product choices, share outdoor lifestyle knowledge, and participate in promotions while maintaining store presentation.

Qualifications

• One or more years’ experience in a sales or service environment is preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Ability to evaluate customers’ needs and make recommendations based on needs.
• Knowledge of Bass Pro Shops & Cabela’s products is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Provide legendary customer service by assisting customers in making buying decisions by identifying and evaluating customers’ needs.
• Promote various company programs and promotions.
• Maintain visual presentation standards including in-store signage, merchandise recovering/front facing, restocking, remerchandising, dusting, and vacuuming sales floor as needed.
• Respond to and resolve customer issues by using good judgment and logic in solving problems and making decisions within the job scope.
• Assist in other areas of the store when business needs dictate.
• Demonstrate a passion for the outdoors by maintaining knowledge of trends related to outdoor lifestyle.
