Job summary

Scotiabank is seeking an experienced Lead QA Engineer for AML data testing in Canada. You will head a multi-geo team, design data test strategies, and partner with Application and Data Development teams to ensure AML controls are validated across domains.

You will drive data lineage, profiling, and quality checks, while advancing test automation and DevOps practices in AML projects. Strong SQL/ETL and back-end testing experience are required.

Qualifications

• Extensive QE experience in functional testing and test automation.
• Strong understanding of AML domain and related regulations.
• Experience with data quality, EDL, and Hadoop environments.
• Expert SQL/ETL skills and back-end testing.
• Familiarity with Oracle Mantas OSFAA, FSDM, FCCM.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage priorities.

Responsibilities

• Lead QA engineers across geographies and drive data test data strategies.
• Develop and maintain data lineage, profiling and quality checks.
• Collaborate with data development, application, and business teams.
• Drive test automation and DevOps initiatives within AML testing.
• Review test strategies, plans, and status reports.
