Job summary

Qualifications

• Grade XII required.
• One-year post-secondary program required.
• Health Information Associate credential preferred.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology is an asset.
• Experience with electronic health information systems is required.

Responsibilities

• Receive, review, prioritize, route and book referrals per scheduling rules.
• Coordinate with clinicians, ambulatory clinics and patients to schedule appointments.
• Ensure referrals are complete and communicated in a timely, compassionate manner.
