Job summary

Crestline Coach Ltd. in Saskatoon is seeking a Body Build Welder to assemble and weld components for life-saving ambulances. You will read blueprints, interpret job orders, and work with team leads to meet delivery schedules.

The role requires MIG and TIG welding experience, ability to read tolerances, and familiarity with fabrication equipment. Safety and quality standards are essential in daily work.

Qualifications

  • Experience in MIG and TIG welding (aluminum experience is an asset).
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and tape measures to 1/32” tolerance.
  • Familiarity with operating fabrication equipment (e.g., ironworker, saw, shear, forklift) is an asset.
  • Strong understanding of ISO standards, quality measurements, and production expectations.
  • Proven ability to use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
  • Physically able to stand for 8+ hours, lift 25–50 lbs, and reach overhead.

Responsibilities

  • Weld and fabricate conversion components such as floors, walls, doors, bumpers, and compartments.
  • Interpret specifications, blueprints, and job orders accurately.
  • Buff, sand, and grind welded or fabricated parts to meet finish specifications.
  • Ensure all work meets Crestline’s quality and ISO standards.
  • Collaborate with Team Lead and Production to meet on-time delivery goals.
  • Support safety practices and participate in training and QA checks.
