AltaGas - Senior Communications Advisor (One Year Term)

Position Summary

In this role, you will play a critical role in cultivating employee engagement and corporate culture through a variety of platforms and initiatives. Your expertise will be pivotal in working collaboratively with internal clients and a high-performing team to shape our corporate narrative and tell the most exciting story in energy.

This is a full-time, limited-term role for 12 months, with the possibility of extension.

You Will:

• Create and deliver compelling communications content to engage employees and strengthen corporate culture, including email updates, newsletters, intranet content, videos, and presentations
• Develop and execute internal campaigns across communication channels that amplify internal initiatives and drive engagement
• Uphold, champion and continuously elevate internal brand standards to ensure consistency and strengthen internal brand identity
• Ensure internal messages are communicated clearly, timely and effectively to unite cross-functional teams across different geographies
• Monitor and evaluate communication trends and business needs to continuously improve the effectiveness of employee communication strategies, methods, and platforms
• Liaise with internal partners to provide top-tier internal communications, offering guidance, tools, and best practices that support strategies and initiatives
• Support internal communications projects as assigned by the Manager, Corporate & Midstream Communications
  
  
  

You Have:

• 5-10 years of communications experience, preferably within the energy industry
• Strong understanding of midstream operations and industry-specific communication challenges
• Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic communication plans
• Proficiency in content creation and event management
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to use data to drive communication strategies
• Ability to work collaboratively with internal clients and executive teams
