AltaGas is seeking a proactive Financial Analyst to join the Midstream Finance team supporting Trucking Operations. The role emphasizes data analysis, month-end reporting, and creating cleaner reporting tools using Excel, Power Query, and BI tools.

You will partner with operations managers to identify cost improvements and drive process enhancements. Ideal candidates have 2–5 years in accounting/finance (oil & gas preferred), with advanced Excel and Power Query skills; JD Edwards and Power BI

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of progressive accounting or finance experience, Oil & Gas preferred.
• CPA designation or working toward one is an asset.
• Advanced Excel and Power Query skills; JD Edwards and Power BI experience is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving ability.
• Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, business-partner mindset.
• Interest in learning the trucking business and understanding operations.
• Demonstrates a continuous improvement mindset by identifying challenges, addressing root causes, and driving process enhancements
