Job summary

AltaGas is seeking a motivated accounting professional to join our Corporate Accounting team during a transformative period. You will support day‑to‑day financial activities and assist in a major ERP implementation, contributing across multiple areas where help is needed.

The role offers exposure to month‑end/quarter‑end closes, reconciliations, and financial reporting, with collaboration across departments to resolve issues and enhance controls. CPA in progress is preferred.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is required.
  • 2–5 years of relevant accounting or finance experience; Corporate Accounting experience preferred.
  • Solid understanding of core accounting principles; working knowledge of US GAAP is an asset but not required.
  • CPA designation or in progress is preferred.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities
